Patient Services Pharmacy Technician at Integrity Compounding Pharmacy

Integrity Compounding Pharmacy is an industry leader in the compounding marketplace. We compound sterile, non-sterile, hazardous, and non-hazardous medications. On average, we fill 250 compounds per day and are actively working to increase that number. POSITION SUMMARY:
Here at Integrity, the Patient Services Department is responsible for handling patient and practitioner phone calls, processing prescriptions in PK software, and serving as the communication liaison between doctors' offices, patients, and our lab team.

We are looking for a GA-licensed Pharmacy Technician (or a talented customer service representative who is willing to get a GA Pharamcy Technician License) to join our Patient Services department to support a team of pharmacists and technicians in the first steps of the prescription process, which includes data entry, order and payment processing, and detailed communications with patients. While workflow is the main component of the position, special projects and cross-training are also required. This position is a full-time, in-office position. 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Process prescriptions using computer software
  • Communicate with patients and providers while providing excellent customer service
  • Prepare and process packages for shipment
  • Adhere to appropriate safety and quality assurance practices. Comply with state and federal laws
  • Assist with the training and supervision of new pharmacy technicians and interns
?Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
  • Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician License in good standing required (Process includes: online application, finger printing, background check, $100 fee)

Job Type: Full-time
 
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
