Account Executive (Sales) 
Position Description:  
Recruit & retain Chamber members along with selling event sponsorships to local businesses through various marketing and referral programs and customer satisfaction. This is a very visible role within the Chamber and the community that reports directly to the Chamber President/CEO.

The position is a fixed part-time position, will consider flexible work hours and a hybrid office/home schedule. 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  
  • Maintain and keep prospective data in CRM current, accurate, and updated at all times  
  • Primarily responsible for the recruitment of new members at a rate consistent with the goals and objectives of the Chamber’s budget 
  • Engage new members early with a focus on long-term partnerships and value of Chamber membership 
  • Attending staff meetings as well as other Chamber functions, including but not limited to, Member Mixers, Networking Events, Chamber Luncheons, etc.  
  • Reinforces the Chamber’s professional image and member-centered culture 
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of the Chamber and its various programs 
  • Always represent the Chamber professionally and positively 
Required Skills, Education & Certifications:  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing preferred 
  • Membership sales and membership-based organization experience preferred
  • Experience in Sales and with HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRM  
  • Proficiency with MS Office, calendar program (MS Outlook), relational database and internet 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm  
  • High level of integrity and work ethic  
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills  
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision 
  • Must be organized with good time management skills 
  • Travel is very limited outside of Atlanta's top end Perimeter area; however, AE is expected to get outside and call on prospects in person. Must have own transportation. 
  • Have the ability to work flexible hours, including some evening and early morning events 
Compensation & Location 
  • This position is based in Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber Offices. Full Time role preferred with annual base salary range for this position $25,000 - $35,000 based on abilities and experience.  
  • Includes an aggressive commission structure on all new member dues, sponsorships and other non-due revenue opportunities - Target OTE is $75,000-$100,000+. 
  • 2 weeks paid vacation  
  • There is an opportunity for this to be a Fixed Part-Time position, and we are open to considering flexible work hours and a hybrid office/home schedule with proportional salary 
  • Benefits and 401K will be available by the end of 2022
